E Evidence Press

Terms of service

Summary

Evidence Press publishes research releases, explanatory media and articles for anyone to read and reuse. These terms explain the licences that apply, the status of the material, and the limits of what it promises.

Effective 12 October 2026.

Using the content

  • Licences. Original prose, claims, diagrams and data on this site are dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0; original code is released under the MIT licence. Third-party material keeps its own terms, as stated where it appears.
  • No account needed. The site has no accounts and no paid tier. Reading, downloading and reusing the material requires no registration.

Status of the material

  • Unrefereed candidates. Research releases are published before any journal review. Each release states exactly what has and has not been verified; nothing on this site is a claim of peer review unless the page says so.
  • No warranty. The content, code and data are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and are not professional, financial, medical or legal advice. To the extent permitted by law, Evidence Press is not liable for any loss arising from their use.
  • Corrections. Substantiated corrections and refutations are reflected on the affected page, with history preserved. They can be raised through each release's GitHub repository.

Videos and the Evidence Press channel tool

Videos are published on the Evidence Press YouTube channel and are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Evidence Press manages its own channel with a private tool that uses YouTube API Services; it acts only on the Evidence Press channel, and its data handling is described in the privacy policy.

Links to other services (for example GitHub, Zenodo, YouTube and Ko-fi) are provided for convenience; those services have their own terms. Any change to these terms will be published on this page with a new effective date.
